About our firm

Our law firm was established by our senior partner Dr. Weigl, in 1972.

From the classical solo-practitioner of that time the firm changed through the years into a international "general practice" lawfirm. German law allowes much easier to cover a wide scope of matters with less attorneys, then US-firms might be used to. With the same quality for example one attorney in Germany can represent cases in the whole IP-field, which means from patentlaw to copyright-law, from prosecution (patent exept) to litigation. Each attorney in Germany is able to represent in court, litigation is different from what you know in the US.

Our clients are from small to medium size firms, as well as individuals,  in Germany up to internationally operating "big" enterprises and institutions.

Together with our cooperation-partners we can handle or offer help in a wide field of legal matters.
